EASTPOINTE (WWJ) -- A 16-year-old Macomb County girl reported missing on Sunday has been found safe -- over 100 miles away from her home.
According to police, Alyssa Marie Schott was found safe in Saginaw early Thursday morning, and is currently getting "much-needed medical help" at a hospital in the area.
On Tuesday, police issued a release changing Schott’s status from missing to missing and endangered because they were made aware she was without necessary medication and likely needed medical attention.
Schott was last seen at her Eastpointe residence early on Sunday when she allegedly stole her brother’s 2016 maroon Jeep Patriot and fled the area.
