Man, woman hospitalized in serious condition after Thursday morning drive-by shooting in Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Two people are hospitalized in serious condition after they were shot in a Thursday morning drive-by in northwest Detroit.

According to police, at about 2:10 a.m. on the 18700 block of Shaftsbury, near Seven Mile and Southfield Freeway, an unknown suspect fired shots into a home and struck the victims.

A man and a woman were both hit in the drive-by shooting and are now hospitalized in temporary serious condition.

The ages of the victims are unknown.

There are currently no suspects at this time.
