DETROIT (WWJ) - The body of a young woman who authorities said was fatally assaulted was discovered inside a home on Detroit's east side Friday morning.
According to the Detroit Police Department, the 20-year-old victim was found around 10:40 a.m. inside a residence in the 5300 block of Cadillac, not far from Warren Avenue.
Detectives are working to piece together the circumstances surrounding the woman's death, but there are currently no suspects in custody as reported by FOX 2.
More information about the case is expected to be released as police continue their investigation.
