DETROIT (WWJ) – Two teens and an adult are in police custody as the investigation into a shootout in the middle of a Detroit neighborhood on Monday continues.
Detroit police officials say at least 30 shots were fired in the 12600 block of McCoy Circle around 4:45 p.m. Monday after a large fight involving about 20 people turned to gun violence. Police recovered two guns and at least 30 casings on Monday.
The shooting sent three teens and a 29-year-old man to the hospital. At last update, one had been released and the other three were in stable condition.
Detroit police on Thursday executed a search warrant in the area of the shootout and took three people into custody.
Authorities did not release any information about those arrested, except for two were juveniles.
Police also recovered four more guns on Thursday.

Detroit police are still actively searching for two more persons of interest in the case, but have not released any information about them.
Authorities have still not released a motive behind the brawl and shootout. Police Chief James White said at a press conference Monday near the scene of the shooting investigators were working to determine whether there was a gang nexus.
He said police would be combing through any video evidence they could get ahold of.
Anyone who knows something about the shootout is asked to contact Detroit police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
