1. Wayne County Marshmallow Drops
Wayne County Parks and Trenton Parks and Recreation are thrilled to bring back the annual Marshmallow Drop! Thousands of marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter for kids to gather and turn in for a prize. The two drops will take place on Friday, April 7 at Elizabeth Park in Trenton and Nankin Mills in Westland.

2. Bunnyville at the Detroit Zoo
Hop over to Bunnyville at the Detroit Zoo this weekend for two days of “egg-citing” fun for the whole family! The Zoo’s annual springtime celebration is free for Zoo members to attend. Non-members can also join in on the fun, as admission to Bunnyville is included with a ticket purchase to the Zoo.

3. Northville Cars and Coffee Official Season Opener
Start your engines! This weekend marks the official season opener of Northville Cars and Coffee 2023. Check out a huge variety of makes and models are welcome while chatting with car owners and enjoying coffee and pastries from Fresh Thyme Market. Cryo Clean Automotive will be on-site giving away 5 hours of FREE detailing and cookies!

4. 2023 Great Detroit History Easter Egg Hunt
Head to Detroit’s Historic Fort Wayne this Easter weekend for an epic egg hunt and a whole lot of history! At the 2023 Great Detroit History Easter Egg Hunt, teams will play through challenges, crossing the parade grounds, solving puzzles, and earning Easter eggs filled with goodies and clues. All while keeping their eyes peeled for 2,500 hidden Easter eggs nestled among the fort’s 90+ acres!

5. Poetry & Music: Worlds Collide
LaShaun Phoenix Moore hosts a star-studded event this weekend at The Cube inside Orchestra Hall featuring the best of R&B, rap, and poetry artists. Johdi & Miz Korona return as musical guests with spoken word sets by Peace Bell, Ben Will, Justin Rogers, and Kelly Brown. DJ Stacye J will be spinning throughout the evening. Enjoy a night of culture and fun inside The Cube!
