DEARBORN (WWJ) -- A market in Dearborn was the target of two arson attempts over the weekend.
According to the Arab American News, security footage showed a man dousing the side of Dearborn's Fresh Market -- located on Colson, near Schaefer Road and Michigan Avenue -- with a flammable liquid and then setting it ablaze Sunday morning.
Previously, there was also an attempt by the suspect to light the building on fire Friday evening but Dearborn police and fire officials were able to extinguish it before any severe damage was done.
However, officials said the fire and suppression system had already caused damage to the market.
The suspect has been arrested.
A motive is unknown at this time.
