
(WWJ) Detroit Police have released photos of an alleged gunman wanted for an attempted carjacking at an east side business.
At around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, a 51-year-old man parked his red Dodge Charger near the entrance of a Liquor & Lotto store in the 2800 block of E. 7 Mile. Rd., according to investigators, leaving his female passenger in the car.
Once the driver was out of sight, police said an unknown suspect entered the driver's side of the vehicle, pulled out a gun, and demanded the car keys from the woman.
When she told the gunman she didn't have the keys, he ordered her to go and get them from the driver, police said.
Video footage captured the suspect go into the store behind the female victim. She got the keys from her companion and turned them over to the suspect who then exited the store.

A short time later, police said the suspect dropped the keys and fled on foot in an unknown direction. It's unclear why.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
Detective were still searching for the suspect on Thursday.
He is described as a Black male, around 6' tall, with a slim build and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater, dark blue jeans, and blue/white Jordan gym shoes, and was armed with a handgun.
