DETROIT (WWJ) -- Authorities have released photos of the suspects they say are responsible for multiple robberies in Southwest Detroit earlier this week.
A gaping hole was left in the side of a Dollar Tree on Vernor Highway Monday morning after a semi-truck smashed into it, while $12,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from a nearby Foot Locker store the same night.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan says the same set of suspects are believed to be responsible for both incidents.
The suspects allegedly stole a sem-truck from Mobia’s North America around 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, before using it to slam into the Dollar Tree about two hours later. Police found the truck nearby and had it towed.
Crime Stoppers says the suspects also used a 2009 or 2010 Dodge Ram four-door pick-up truck with a chain attached to break into the Foot Locker, located at 6100 W. Vernor about 20 minutes after hitting the Dollar Tree.
One suspect was seen on security camera with an AR-15 rifle, according to Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for anyone who can provide tips that lead to an arrest of the suspects. Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has any information regarding the crimes is asked to make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
All tipsters will remain anonymous and all rewards are paid anonymously. Crime Stoppers pays rewards when an arrest is made -- they do not wait for a conviction.
