DETROIT (WWJ) – Police are asking for tips finding a man accused of robbing a CVS store on Detroit’s northwest side last weekend.

Authorities say a man walked into the CVS on Grand River near the Southfield Freeway just before 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, walked up to the cashier, pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The suspect then fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash in a light colored compact SUV with cardboard covering the license plate.

The suspect was seen wearing glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect or knows something about the robbery is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s 8th Precinct at 313-596-5840 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

As always, all Crime Stoppers tipsters will remain 100% anonymous.
