DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are looking for a person of interest in connection to the fire at Mudgie's Deli and Bar in Corktown.
Investigators say a back portion of the restaurant was intentionally set ablaze last Thursday morning. The fire is currently being investigated as arson.
Police have released a still image of a man they want in for questioning.
Detroit Deputy Fire Commissioner Dave Fornell said a neighbor called to report the fire around 4:30 a.m.
"There wasn't a lot of damage to the exterior, and there was, from what they said, very little damage to the interior," Fornell said.
Fornell says the good news is that Mudgie's is expected to get back up and running "very soon."
Fornell did not say how it was started. Investigators are now working to determine who set the fire and why.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
