DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are searching for Gen’Asia Sturges, 27, who went missing Friday evening on the city's northwest side.

Sturges' aunt told authorities that her niece suffers from mental illness.
She was last seen leaving her house on the 20100 block of Stansbury around 9:30 p.m. Friday night and failed to return home.
Police say Sturges was wearing a prink scarf, a black jacket with blue jeans and a black gym shoes when she left.
She is described as a black female with a heavier build and brown eyes.
Police are unaware if she has any identifying tattoos or scars.
Those who have seen Sturges, or know her whereabouts, are asked to call the Detroit Police Department's 12th Precinct at 313-596-1201.
