DETROIT (WWJ) -- On the west side of Detroit, residents are frustrated over a water main break that has caused flooding and lowered water pressure for nearly a week.
The affected neighborhood is in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Highland Street, south of Davison Freeway.
Robert Fennel, a resident of the area, said he hasn't heard anything from city officials.
Fennel said there are barricades around the leaky water main break, and he's seen workers, but it hasn't been fixed.
"It's been like this for about a week," said resident Robert Fennel. "They've been out here, but nothing's been done."
Residents living in the area have low water pressure and some are dealing with discolored water, but there hasn't been a boil water advisory from city officials.
"If you were living in a building and every time you look around the electricity is off -- what are you gonna do, stay or leave?"
