DETROIT (WWJ) -- A 24-year-old driver will survive after splitting their vehicle in half during a crash on I-94 this morning.
WWJ’s Charlie Langton reports that the driver was speeding on EB I-94 near Cadieux at around 4:30 a.m. on Monday when they hit a light pole, crashed into the embankment and split their SUV in half.
The driver, who had reportedly been weaving in and out of traffic when they lost control, was thrown from the vehicle onto the exit ramp to Harper Avenue, according to Fox2Detroit.

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
