DETROIT (WWJ) -- Authorities are hoping a cash reward will entice a someone to come forward with information about the murder of a 32-year-old woman, last summer in Detroit

According to Crime Stoppers of Michigan, Domonique Johnson was shot and killed at 1:23 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, in the area of Outer Drive and Chalfonte Ave. on the city's west side.

Investigators say Johnson was standing outside her car talking to someone in another car when an unknown person riding by in a blue four-door sedan open fire, killing her.

A motive for the shooting is unknown, and no suspects in the case have been named or described.

With no answers now more than seven months since losing their loved one, Johnson's family is reaching out for help from the community, and Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 cash reward for the tip that leads to the arrest.

Johnson's mother, Paula Jamerson-Gibble, along with other family members, were scheduled to speak at a news conference on Thursday.
