A drug enforcement team in Metro Detroit has busted a fentanyl trafficking organization.
Agents with the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team executed search warrants in Detroit, Hamtramck, Taylor and Inkster yesterday after a months long investigation.
Agents seized fentanyl, cocaine, a new designer drug similar to PCP, a gun and nearly $50,000 in cash. Several suspects were taken into custody. Charges are pending against the suspects.
1.2 kilograms of fentanyl, 54 grams of cocaine, 32 grams of Methoxetamine, a pistol, and $48,910 in cash, specifically, were seized.
