WANTED: Four teenage suspects who forced their way into Detroit home, robbed residents at gunpoint

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are looking for four suspects, all believed to be teenagers, in connection with a home invasion and armed robbery on the city's west side.

Just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, police said the robbers forced their way into a home in the 6700 block of Warwick, in the area of W. Warren Ave. and Evergreen Rd.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at a 59-year-old residents and demanded his wallet, police said, while another pointed a gun at an 18-year-old resident, before taking his cell phone.

The suspects then away from the scene.

No one was hurt.

Police said the suspects were males, approximately 15 to 18 years old. All of them were wearing black clothing, with their faces covered with black masks at the time of the crime.

The Detroit Police Department released two images of the suspects, taken from a home surveliene camera, on Friday.
