DETROIT (WWJ) -- A man is dead after his vehicle was riddled with bullets in a freeway shooting in Detroit.
WWJ's Sandra McNeil reports that it happened along I-75 southbound at Mack Avenue on Sunday night.
Witnesses say a man was firing a gun out of the sunroof of an SUV and targeting a black vehicle.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a 22-year-old man severely injured. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, but they believe the shooting was targeted.
