OAKLAND COUNTY (WWJ) -- Three vehicles with a total value exceeding $250,000 stolen from an Oakland County dealership Tuesday morning have been recovered by police.
Waterford Police Chief Scott Underwood said the suspects entered the GR Auto Gallery in Commerce Township by breaking out a large glass window.
The suspects then drove the three vehicles through a closed and locked over-head door, damaging another car parked outside.
The vehicles stolen were a $106,000 red Dodge Challenger Super Stock, a $110,000 green Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and a $54,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee RT. All three cars were 2021 models.
Detroit Police Special Operations Units from the 7th and 9th precincts helped Waterford police track down the vehicles later Tuesday morning. The cars were found in three separate locations in Detroit.
The suspects' identities have not been released and it's unknown if they are in custody.
