
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are reaching out for help from the public in the case of a missing man who hasn't been seen since New Year's Eve.
According to investigators, Jeriah Beckett left his home in the 3900 block of Courville, in the area of Mack Ave. and Outer Dr. on Detroit's east side, at around 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
Police said Beckett's family does not know where he went. and he did not return home.
There is concern for Beckett's wellbeing as, according to his sister, he lives with schizophrenia.
Beckett is described as a 37-year-old Black male, 6’3” tall and weighing 300 to 325 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, black pants and gray Converse shoes.
