DETROIT (WWJ) – Authorities are asking for tips from the public tracking down a person of interest in the theft of an Edible Arrangements van from Detroit’s northwest side earlier this month.
Detroit police officials say the Edible Arrangements van was stolen around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 19 in the area of 8 Mile and Livernois.
Other circumstances surrounding the theft were not disclosed, including whether any arrangements were inside at the time or if it was left running at the time of the theft.
While the van – described as a red and black Nissan Nv200 – was recovered last Friday in Southwest Detroit, authorities are still searching for the thief.
Police on Monday released a photo of a man who was seen in the vehicle a couple of days following the incident.
