
DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is seeking information from the community about a carjacking that involved a female decoy.
Between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Monday, police say a 20-year-old man picked up the female suspect in the 19300 block of Dale. He drove his black 2013 Chevy Malibu to the 23700 block of Clarita Avenue where the suspect exited the car to go use the bathroom.
Police said as she was walking away, two armed male suspects approached the victim and robbed him. They also demanded his car.
After the victim complied, the male suspects -- as well as the female suspect -- entered the vehicle and fled the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The female suspect is described as 5’6” tall with long black hair that went down to her calf. She was last seen wearing a black bubble coat.
The male suspects were described as looking around 18-years-old, 5’8” tall, skinny build and wearing black clothing with black masks.
