ROSEVILLE (WWJ) – A Farmington Hills man is facing second-degree murder and other charges for the shooting of a popular bouncer at Dooley’s Tavern in Roseville last weekend.
Michael Deshawn Altman-Tucker, 25, is accused of shooting a bouncer, who friends have identified as 36-year-old Julius Bing, of Warren, at the bar on Gratiot late Saturday night.
Authorities say Altman-Tucker was being escorted out of the bar for being unruly when at some point he pulled out a gun and shot Bing. He’s also accused of shooting another person during the altercation. That victim is expected to recover.
The entire incident was captured on surveillance footage, authorities said.
Altman-Tucker is also facing charges of assault with intent to murder and felony firearm. He was given a $1 million bond.

In the wake of the shooting, the owners of Dooley’s told Roseville police that they will be closing permanently, effective immediately.
Authorities told WWJ’s Charlie Langton Dooley’s was facing charges for numerous alcohol violations and likely would have been closed had they not done so themselves.
A GoFundMe page raised more than $12,000 for a funeral for Bing, who was affectionately known as Juju.
The page says Bing was a father of four and had three step-children.
"Julius was a very loving & hard-working Father, he worked two jobs and never complained to make sure his children were taken care of," the page said.
