(WWJ) A young man has been charged in a Christmas week shooting that left one person dead and two others injured in Detroit.
Keyon Wilson-Ollis, 22, of Detroit, is accused of shooting a 37-year-old man, a 41-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy at a gas station at 7 Mile Rd. and Woodward Ave. at around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 23.
According to investigators, the victims did not know the shooter prior to the incident. Apparently, the trio was there to meet up with someone to sell a pair of skates, but instead were confronted by Wilson-Ollis.
All three victims were taken to a local hospital, where the man died of his injuries.
Willson-Ollis fled the scene in his car, authorities said, but was arrested a short time later by Detroit Police at another gas station at 8 Mile Rd. and Woodward.
He was arraigned over the weekend in 34th District Court in Romulus om eight felonies: one count of first-degree premeditated murder, four counts of felony firearm, two counts of assault with intent to murder, and one count of fleeing and eluding police, fourth-degree.
Bond was denied and Willson-Ollis' next court date, a probable cause conference, was set for Jan. 6.
