DETROIT (WWJ NEWSRADIO 950) -- A man is hospitalized after being shot multiple times during a possible case of road rage on 8 Mile Road in Detroit.
WDIV said the driver was shot several times on 8 Mile and Telegraph roads on Wednesday evening, which caused him to crash into the woods.
Authorities told WDIV that the driver sustained at least one gunshot wound to the head.
Officers took the man to a local hospital where his condition is currently unknown.
There were approximately 16 shell casings at the scene, said police.
The investigation into the shooting continues as police gather more evidence, including potential surveillance footage from a nearby restaurant.
