
DETROIT (WWJ) -- A man was injured by shattered glass after someone fired shots into his windshield on I-75 in Detroit.
Michigan State Police are investigating after a driver said he was traveling southbound on I-75 near Clay at approximately 10:55 p.m. last night when he heard bullets hit his car.
MSP said one of the rounds went through his windshield causing the glass to strike him.
The driver told troopers the gunman was hanging out of the rear passenger side window of a black Charger while shooting at him. The Charger then continued traveling south along I-75 after the victim exited the freeway.
The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
This incident is pending further investigation.
