PORT HURON (WWJ) -- A 51-year-old man was killed while walking in Port Huron Township Wednesday morning.
The St. Clair County Sheriff Department said the man was walking westbound on Dove Road when he was struck by a 28-year-old driver in a GMC pickup truck that was also traveling westbound.

The incident occurred at around 7 a.m.
EMS crews arrived and the 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.

Officials said it's unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
