
DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for help from the public in the search for a man wanted for the murder of a woman at an east side hotel.
Dennis Miller, 30, was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with “SECURITY” in white lettering on the front of it, dark colored blue jeans or sweatpants, and a surgical mask covering his face.
According to investigators, the 42-year-old victim was found by police officers who responded to the Travel Inn hotel, in the 11500 block of Harper, near I-94 at around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman, whose name has not been released, had been fatally shot, police said.
Following an investigation, the DPD said Miller was identified as the suspect who was caught on the hotel's Project Green Light camera.


He remained at large on Wednesday.
