
(WWJ) Detroit police are searching for a suspect who shot a man he argued with at a gas station on the city's west side.
It happened at around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, in the 4200 block of W.
Warren Ave., near I-94.
According to police, the gunman was involved in a verbal dispute with a 31-year- old man. As the two men were leaving the gas station, police say the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired a shot in the direction of the victim, striking him.
The suspect then fled on foot, headed southbound on Lovett St.
The victim was taken by EMS to a local hospital where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
Now a month following the shooting, police are still searching for the suspect, who was caught on the surveillance camera. He is described as Black male with medium brown complexion, short hair and average build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, dark stonewash jeans and red gym shoes.
