Man with dementia, wearing 'Vietnam Veteran' cap missing after leaving hospital in Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Tips are wanted to help track down a 76-year-old man who went missing after leaving a hospital in Detroit.

According to Detroit Police, Norman Crawford was last seen at around 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, when his wife said he left a local hospital and failed to return home.

She added that her husband is legally blind and suffers from dementia.

Crawford is decribed as a Black male, 5'5'' tall and weighing around 140 lbs. He has brown eyes and is bald, with a black and gray mustache.

When last seen, Crawford was wearing a ‘Vietnam Veteran’ skull cap with gold lettering, a dark colored coat, tan gloves, gray sweatpants and black tennis shoes.
