
TROY (WWJ) -- A Detroit man is facing charges in connection with an incident that disturbed customers and workers at a Walmart Supercenter in Oakland County.
Troy Police officers were called at around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 7 to the store on W. Maple Rd., near Crooks Rd., on reports of a suspicious man who'd been there for over four hours and was "making guests and employees uncomfortable."

When approached by store security officers, it's alleged that he told them that next time he may bring a gun to the store.
Police officers spoke to and searched the 26-year-old suspect, and found that he had a fixed blade knife with a 5” blade in his front jacket pocket.
The man, who had outstanding warrants, was arrested without incident and taken to jail. He is charged with carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent and disturbing the peace.
No one was injured.
The man's name was not immediately released.
