TROY, Mich. (WWJ) -- Police are searching for a group of suspects who stole more than $2 million worth of merchandise from a cell phone store in Troy.
Police say unknown suspects busted into Super Fair Cellular at 1374 Rankin sometime between 6:50 p.m. and midnight on Saturday, Oct. 16 and loaded up on phones and other valuable items.

Police say the suspects “created a three-foot by three-foot hole” in the cinder block wall of the building to get inside, but they did not say how they created that hole.
Once the suspects were inside, they stole approximately 30,000 cell phones valued at about $2 million, according to Troy police.
The suspects also took four “wheeled bins,” valued at about $500 each, a metal dock plate valued at $750 and a pallet jack valued at $600, police said.
Additional damage was done to the building and the alarm and closed-circuit TV systems.
Authorities have not released any information about the suspects. Anyone with information about the heist should contact the Troy Police Department.
