(WWJ) Detroit Police are searching for a man and a woman in connection with a shootout last week on the city's east side.
Investigators released photos of a male suspect and a female person of interest, along with video of the incident that happened on June 30, at a Valero gas station on E. 8 Mile Rd., near Ryan Rd.
At around 1:45 p.m., police say the male suspect and another man got into an argument inside the gas station. The dispute continued outside where the suspect fired multiple shots at the victim, wounding him.
The victim fired back, but did not injure the suspect, police said.
After the shooting, the suspect got into white Dodge Dart with a female driver — being called a "person of interest" — and drove off.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and listed in temporary serious condition.
Detroit Police are now reaching out for help from the public to identify and locate the suspect and his companion.
