(WWJ) A dispute led to a shooting Wednesday afternoon in an Eastpointe neighborhood.
Eastpointe police said a man in his 20s was shot outside a home on Veronica Street near Kelly and Toepfer, just before 3:30 p.m.
Witnesses told responding officers that there was an argument before gunfire rang out.
Two suspects were caught a short distance from the shooting scene and arrested, police said.
Police said one of the suspect in custody knows the victim; but their relationship -- and what they were fighting about -- remains unclear.
The condition of the wounded man, who was taken to a local hospital, was unknown Wednesday evening.
Police said the investigation is in the initial phases and that no further information would be released at this time.
