DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left one person dead on Detroit's east side.
WWJ's Jason Scott reports that the incident took place around 2:40am on Wednesday along Gratiot near Seven Mile Road. Police say that a motorcycle was struck by a car that fled the scene.
The motorcyclist was killed in the crash.

Police think that the incident may have been the result of drunk driving, but are still investigating the situation.
