GRAWN, Mich. (WWJ) – A group of people, including one juvenile suspect, are in trouble with the law for allegedly running a drug ring at a house in Northern Michigan.

Michigan State Police say seven adults and a juvenile were found in a home in Grawn, Mich. – just southwest of Traverse City – on March 17 when detectives served a search warrant.

The raid came after the Traverse Narcotics Team (TNT) conducted a drug trafficking investigation in the Grawn area and identified several suppliers of methamphetamine.

During that raid, authorities found about 180 grams of crystal meth, two handguns, cocaine, LSD and prescription pills throughout the home.

The 35-year-old homeowner, Benjamin Lemcool, was arraigned the next day on two counts of delivery of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. He was given a $50,000/personal recognizance bond.

Three other adults were arraigned several days later. Jesse Manville, 31, was charged with possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, while 29-year-old Kylie Sevener and 38-year-old Andrew Merchant were each charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Authorities say a fifth adult was lodged on outstanding warrants in Grand Traverse County.

Additional charges are on the way for the other people found inside the home during the raid, MSP said.

MSP officials did not release the juvenile’s age, and it was unclear whether they will face charges. The identities of the other two adults were not disclosed.
