(WWJ) – Last week NASA launched the Artemis 1 Orion spacecraft into space, paving the way for astronauts to return to the moon in the not-so-distant future.
The rocket has been in flight for only a few days, but NASA scientists and space geeks are already excited about the images it’s captured so far.
On a new edition of “All Over the Space,” WWJ’s Erin Vee heard from Mike Murray of the Delta College Planetarium in Bay City, who says the launch essentially “blew the blast elevator doors right off.”
He said he’s not surprised the world’s most powerful rocket “did a little bit of damage.
Also on this episode they dive into the latest developments from the James Webb Telescope and talk about the fun events coming up at the planetarium, including a musical light show called “Let it Snow.”
