
CHESTERFIELD TWP. (WWJ) -- Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that took the life of a 39-year-old Clinton Township man last week.

Chesterfield Township Police said they responded to the scene of the crash on westbound I-94 near 21 mile road around 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 where they found a Ford F-150 on its side in a ditch.
The man, whose name has not been released yet, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
Officials say the truck hit the center guard rail, crossed three lanes of traffic, ended up in the ditch and then rolled over.
It is unknown what may have caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol played a role, but an autopsy is pending.
