DEARBORN (WWJ) – The search is on for a man who allegedly exposed himself inside a Dearborn department store last week.
Dearborn police officials say around 11:30 p.m. on July 5 a man inside the Burlington store on Ford Road near Mercury Drive exposed his genitals.
Authorities have not released any other details about the incident, including how many people were in the store at the time.
Surveillance images from the scene show the man with a full beard and tattoos on his left forearm. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt, gray shorts, a gray hat and black Nike sandals.
“Indecent acts such as this can have a traumatic and lasting effect on those that witness them,” Dearborn Police Commander Timothy McHale said, per a press release.
Dearborn police officials are asking anyone in the community who recognizes the suspect or knows where he may be to contact Sgt. Carpenter at 313-943-2041.
