DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from the public to help identify and locate a murder suspect at large.

The DPD on Monday released Project Green Light video of the alleged gunman at the scene over the weekend.

According to police, the shooting happened at around 1:50 p.m. Sunday at a gas station at 20600 W 7 Mile Rd., between Evergreen and Burt roads, on the city's west side.

It's alleged that the suspect — last seen wearing a bright yellow t-shirt, and orange hat and dark pants — shot and killed the victim before running away. The shooting, police said, was caught on video.
