(WWJ) Police have good news in the case of a young woman who went missing late last month in Detroit.

London Johnson, 24, was reported missing after she was last seen at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, when she left her home in the 18600 block of Snowden, near the Lodge Fwy. and W. Outer Drive, and failed to return.

Although Johnson has not been diagnosed with any mental disorders, family members told investigators that she "functions as an adolescent," increasing concern about her well-being.

Friday, more than a week after tips were sought to find Johnson, police sent an update saying Johnson had been recovered, and is "doing well."

It's not clear where she'd been. No further details were released.
