(WWJ) Police are asking for tips in the case of a young woman who went missing late last month in Detroit.

London Johnson, 24, was last seen by her family at around 7 p.m. on Friday, September 29, when she left her home in the 18600 block of Snowden, near the Lodge Fwy. and W. Outer Drive, and failed to return.

Although Johnson has not been diagnosed with any mental disorders, family members tell investigators that she "functions as an adolescent."

She was last seen wearing a purple hair bonnet, burgundy t-shirt with a light pink fleece, brown pants, black sandals and was carrying a bag.
