
(WWJ) Detroit Police are searching for a man who allegedly shot and killed a dog in a case of animal cruelty on the city's west side.
It happened the night of Saturday, Jan. 16, after police say 29-year-old Wade Wesley Hamilton, III, got into an argument with his 76-year-old father, at a home in the 9500 block of Manor.
Hamilton is accused of fatally wounding the animal before leaving on foot.
He is described as a Black male, 6’2” tall and around 160 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes and medium brown complexion.
Police are hoping someone in the public has seen him, and will call in a tip.
