DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are asking for tips from the public to help identify several suspects involved in the alleged left of lottery tickets at an east side Detroit gas station.
On Sunday, Oct. 2, at around 3 a.m., police said the suspects entered a gas station at 8005 E. Jefferson, near Van Dyke Ave., took $250 worth of lottery tickets and left without paying.
The suspects, who were caught on the store's security camera, then fled the scene in a newer gray Ford Fusion with a stolen license plate, police said.

On Monday, the Detroit Police Department released photos of the suspects, hoping that someone who recognizes them will come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to call the DPD's Seventh Precinct at 313-596-5700. To remain anonymous, tipsters can call the Crime Stoppers line at 1-800-Speak-UP (800-773-2587) or submit information online at this link.
