PONTIAC (WWJ) -- Detectives from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help locating a Pontiac teenager who ran away from home on Thursday.

14-year-old Kamarion Amir Johnson was reported missing by his mother, after he fled their residence in the 200 block of Carriage Circle -- located just off Auburn Rd, east of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

According to OCSO, a court order currently requires Johnson to be housed in Oakland County Children's Village, citing a history of truancy at school and running away from home.

During this most recent incident, Johnson left home, was found by his mother, then took off again before sheriff's deputies arrived.

A K-9 unit was brought in but failed to pick up on Johnson's trail.

Johnson is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen dressed in all black clothing.

Anyone who has seen Johnson or knows where he is should call the sheriff's office at 248-858-4950.
