REDFORD (WWJ) -- A man who was on parole for murder is facing another murder charge in connection with a deadly shooting in Redford.
Police say 40-year-old Maurice Crisp was arraigned Monday on murder, attempted murder and other charges relating to a shooting last Thursday at the Warwick Village Mobile Home park on Joy Road near Telegraph.
Investigators say he shot and killed one man and wounded another after an argument escalated to gunfire.
40-year-old Amy Morgan was also charged as an accessory after the fact, and being a habitual offender.
WWJ's Charlie Langton first reported the shooting, which happened in the early hours of May 13. Both victims were males in their 20s.
The victim who died from his injuries was later identified by a neighbor as a man named Hector.
“I’ve known him, I respected him, I would’ve done anything for him. He would’ve done anything for you or any stranger," the resident told WWJ. "And he’s not here no more."
