
(WWJ) The Detroit Police Department needs help from the community after a 15-year-old boy was murdered on Detroit’s east side Friday evening.
The teenager was fatally shot just before 9 p.m. Friday night, in the area of 7 Mile Rd. and Outer Drive.
Police said the suspect was accompanied by another man when the shooting happened.
No other details have been released.
“Our hearts and prayers are with the victim’s family,” Police Chief James White said on Twitter.
“We continue to speak out about impulse decisions to use gun violence to settle minor conflicts. Our community is in shock and can’t comprehend such a tragedy. We will do everything possible to catch the shooter.”
