
FERNDALE (WWJ) -- Three teenagers in a stolen vehicle are in critical condition after they crashed into a building in Ferndale early Wednesday morning.
At around 5 a.m., Ferndale Police arrived on the scene of the single-vehicle crash at 8 Mile and Flowerdale.
The driver and two passengers suffered serious injuries and are at the hospital in critical condition, according to authorities.
Ferndale PD said the vehicle was stolen out of Redford Township on Nov. 16.
The identities of the occupants have not been released, but police believe they are all under the age of 18.
It is still unknown what may have caused the crash.
Westbound 8 Mile Road at Livernois was down to one lane earlier Wednesday morning during the investigation. It has since been reopened.
