(WWJ) -- It will be yet another year until the family of missing Farmington Hills woman Danielle Stislicki sees any kind of resolution in her disappearance.

A trial for the man accused of killing Stislicki was pushed back to 2022 by Oakland County Circuit Judge Phyllis McMillen on Monday after the attorney for Floyd Galloway said she needed more time to gather information about the case.

Defense attorney Ellen Michaels told the judge that she was waiting to obtain emails from the City of Farmington Hills through the Freedom of Information Act, which may contain pertinent information.

28-year-old Stislicki, who went by “Dani,” was last seen leaving her job at the MetLife office building in Southfield on December 2, 2016.

She had planned to meet up with a friend for dinner that night, but never showed up. Her Jeep was found a day later, parked outside her home at the Independence Green apartments in the area of Halsted and Grand River in Farmington Hills, with her purse inside. Her body has never been found.

Galloway, a former security guard where Stislicki worked, is currently in prison for attempted sexual assault in a separate incident. He was charged with Stislicki's murder two years ago.

At least two witnesses told authorities they saw Stislicki with Galloway on the day of her disappearance.

A pretrial update will be given from both sides on November 15.
