DETROIT (WWJ) -- The U.S. Postal Service is hosting two job fairs this week in Detroit and Southfield.
The USPS has immediate openings for City Carrier Assistant (CCA), with positions starting at $18.01 per hour.
Those hoping to be hired are required to take an assessment test, performance test, and have a current driving license with a minimum of two years good driving record.

Applicants must also be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate, a US Citizen or have permanent resident alien status, and pass a background check, drug test and pre-employment medical assessment.
Additionally, potential employees are required to reside within daily commuting distance of the position.
