(WWJ) Warren Police are investigating a case of what some are calling a "serial pooper" on the loose.

Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said his detectives are searching for a man who defecated in at least two vehicles in recent weeks.

The first reported incident happened late at night in the lot of Friendly Auto on Van Dyke Ave., when the suspect left an unpleasant surprise inside a 2009 Chrysler Town and Country.

In another incident, at around 5:15 a.m. on Feb. 3, police said the man was caught on camera doing it again, this time at Twins Tire on Van Dyke at around 5:15 a.m.

Surveillance video obtained by police shows the man leaving his vehicle, walking over to a white van, opening up the driver's side door and squatting down.

The van was in the shop, apparently, because the owner has had trouble locking the doors, Dwyer told WWJ's Sandra McNeill.

The service center reportedly deep-cleaned the van for free.

As the investigation continues, there is no description of the suspect, and no clues as to a possible motive.

Warren Police are asking anyone in the public who has additional information to call them at 586-574-4700.
